Super Light Weights Ages 6-8, 9*
Light Weights Ages 9-10, 11*
Junior Varsity Ages 11-12, 13*
Varsity Ages 12-14
*Modified Weight & Playing Restrictions
- All Coaches are ‘Heads Up’ USA Football Certified
- We compete in the Southland’s River Valley Football League
- We play in a Wednesday night DEVELOPMENTAL league for all new and younger players

Background
Ty Ruddock was one of the founding fathers of the Tinley Park Bulldogs in 1961. Ty’s son, Ken Ruddock, played for the Bulldogs. Ken was not the star athlete. However, he was an outstanding young man and did well in school. The Ruddock family moved to Canton, Ohio. It was there that Ken Ruddock was involved in a car accident and died on the way home from baseball practice. Al Bulow and a few other fathers from the Bulldogs attended the funeral in Ohio and decided to establish the "Ken Ruddock Award". The award is given out each year to an 8th grade football player who is an exemplary student athlete, well liked, respected, and admired by his peers. The first "Ken Ruddock Award" was awarded in 1965 to Rick Vincent.
